Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to distribute the initial funds to 1 lakh beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G) through the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyaya Maha Abhiyan (PM-JANMAN) on January 15, 2024, at 12 noon via video conferencing. Launched on November 15, 2023, on Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas, PM-JANMAN aims to uplift Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) socio-economically. With a budget of Rs. 24,000 crore, PM-JANMAN focuses on 11 interventions through 9 Ministries to enhance PVTGs’ conditions, including safe housing, education, healthcare, and sustainable livelihoods. This initiative underscores the government’s commitment to Ayodhya, empowering marginalized sections. Concurrently, PM Modi inaugurated AMRUT projects worth Rs. 2,000 crores in Solapur, Maharashtra, benefiting urban rejuvenation. Additionally, he dedicated over 90,000 PMAY-Urban houses and initiated PM-SVANIDHI instalments distribution, demonstrating the government’s dedication to inclusive development.
