The Adani Group is set to commission the first phase of its $4 billion PVC project by December 2026, boosting India’s petrochemical sector. The first phase will have a 1 million tonne annual capacity, expanding to 2 million tonnes in later phases. Backed by an SBI-led consortium, the project will use advanced Acetylene and Carbide production processes, with all environmental clearances secured.
